An innovative clinical trial shows that we can reduce biological age (measured by the Horvath 2013 DNAmAge watch) for more than three years in just eight weeks with diet and lifestyle by balancing DNA methylation.

A first study of this type, reviewed by experts, provides scientific evidence that changes in lifestyle and diet can produce an immediate and rapid reduction in our biological age. Since aging is the main driver of chronic diseases, this reduction can help us live better and longer.

The study, published April 12, used a randomized controlled clinical trial conducted in 43 healthy adult men between the ages of 50 and 72 years. The 8-week treatment program included guidance on diet, sleep, exercise and relaxation, and supplemental probiotics and phytonutrients, resulting in a statistically significant reduction in biological age — more than three years less, compared to controls.

The study was conducted independently by the Helfgott Research Institute, with laboratory assistance from the Yale University Genome Analysis Center, and the results were independently analyzed at McGill University and National University of Yale. Natural Medicine.
