Dr. Katya Numbers of the Center for Healthy Brain Aging (CHeBA) looks at how the COVID-19 pandemic has posed unique risks to people with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
The research of Dr. Numbers has revealed that people live there dementia have a relatively high risk of developing severe COVID-19 and are also at risk for neuropsychiatric disorders as a result of blocking and social isolation.
