Should doctors be required to have COVID-19 vaccines?

Nearly half of front-line health workers had not been vaccinated in early March, according to a recent survey. Twelve percent of respondents had not decided whether to get vaccinated and 18% said they do not plan to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

Few health organizations have required employees to receive COVID-19 vaccines, which are available under FDA emergency use authorizations, but have not yet been fully approved. The legality of requiring a vaccine with an authorized vaccine for emergency use, rather than full approval, it is not clear.
