Gaming company Razer has published job postings to hire a blockchain, cryptography and decentralized finance (DeFi) chain in Singapore.
The role of associate director / director in this space will help to develop and execute Razer’s strategy on using blockchain as a platform.
The person will work closely with Razer’s business and product leaders to look for global opportunities that include partnerships and investments in the world of blockchain, cryptography and DeFi technologies.
In addition, the new hiring will also help the company, which has more than 120 million users, explore crypto and DeFi as potential areas for Razer’s services business expansion.
Razer requires the candidate to have qualities such as technical training, an understanding of the fintech and blockchain technology ecosystem, and at least five years of experience in finance, business development, and marketing in the IT industry. cryptography / blockchain.

Razer explores cryptographic space
Earlier this month, Razer announced that it did exploring a potential entry in the cryptocurrency space.
So he had said in a presentation then that there is a new opportunity for Razer in the cryptocurrency space, given the wide scope of its Razer Fintech unit.
However, he also expressed concern about the impact that cryptography has on the environment in a Twitter post.
So he had said that it is “unlikely” that Razer will issue its own cryptocurrency, but he would not rule out the company accepting one or more of the other currencies out there for its hardware and services.
