Comment of the week

“In terms of growth. Males may need much more zinc to grow to their full potential. Eating zinc-rich foods like liver may not be enough. First, there are type II zinc deficiencies, which can be caused by something as insidious as delayed hypersensitivity to food, or spores or mycotoxins in the air we breathe while sleeping. Second, men who discover the joys of masturbation may lose zinc in ejaculation. Another observation from a colleague was that “recovery growth” occurred frequently when zinc deficiency was corrected. A child grew six inches in less than a year. So maybe it would be worth taking a zinc test for a month? Maybe a medical follow-up of the state of the copper during the month to optimize safety?
