United Nations
The UN human rights chief has urged Hamas rulers in Israel and Gaza to reduce tensions.
Michelle Bachelet said in a statement that “instead of trying to calm tensions, the inflammatory rhetoric of leaders everywhere seems to be trying to excite tensions instead of calming them.”
Bachelet’s statement was issued shortly before an Israeli airstrike destroyed the Gaza City building that housed Al Jazeera and AP offices.

Al Jazeera condemned the bombing and destruction of his offices and he said it was a clear act to prevent journalists from doing their duty.
“We call on the international community to condemn these barbaric actions and address journalists and demand immediate international action to hold Israel accountable for its deliberate aim against journalists and media institutions,” said Dr. Mostefa Souag. Israel has given a “warning” that it will bomb the building that houses the offices of Al Jazeera and other international media channels in Gaza City in an hour.

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu tweeted that Turkey is on the side of the Palestinians, who are still facing “ethnic, religious and cultural cleansing.”

The White House said it had communicated with Israel about the need to ensure the safety of journalists after the Israeli army destroyed the building that houses the Al Jazeera and AP offices.
