Two Palestinians killed, 10 wounded, an Israeli air strike attacked the headquarters of the Qatari humanitarian group.
An Israeli airstrike targeted the office of the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) in Gaza, killing two Palestinians and injuring ten more.
The organization he tweeted that his offices were attacked “by Israeli occupation forces” on Monday.
“Qatar’s Red Crescent condemns the target of its headquarters in Gaza [and] reaffirms the need to allow relief teams to work in accordance with international humanitarian law, “he added.
QRCS Secretary-General Ali bin Hassan Al Hammadi criticized the attack as a flagrant violation of the Geneva Convention, of which Israel is a signatory.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry also condemned the “bombing of the Israeli occupation against the Red Crescent Society building,” adding that “the goal of humanitarian institutions and the media it is a clear violation of international humanitarian law, norms and values. “

Support relief efforts
The QRCS had been working to respond to the needs of the Palestinians in Gaza amid the Israeli offensive for a week.
On Sunday, it announced the allocation of $ 1 million to support Palestinian families affected by the recent escalation of fighting.
The funds will be used to meet the basic needs of the population, as well as the provision of medical supplies, including medicines and ambulances.

At least 200 people, including 59 children, have died in the Gaza Strip since the latest violence began a week ago. More than 1,300 Palestinians were also injured.
On Saturday, an Israeli air strike demolished a building which housed international media offices, including that of Al Jazeera, in the Gaza Strip.
Monday’s attack came as international law groups denounced Israel for its indiscriminate attacks on ambulance equipment and health centers, including a crew of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
“Last night, an MSF clinic in #Gaza where we provided treatment for trauma and burns was damaged by Israeli airstrikes, leaving a sterilization room unusable and the waiting area damaged. No one was injured in our clinic, but people died from the attack, “MSF said in a tweet.
