G20 foreign ministers debate response to pandemic


Rome / Matera (dpa) – G20 foreign ministers will discuss the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, climate protection and aid to Africa in the southern Italian city of Matera on Tuesday . As the venue for the meeting of foreign ministers, the Italian hosts chose Matera, known for its cave dwellings and very popular with tourists. The Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Matera was European Capital of Culture in 2019.
