Hello, hello. You are here because you like football and England or Italy. Or both. Or neither.
I am Faras Ghani (@farasG) and I’ll bring you today’s biggest football game (Argentina beat Brazil the older one this morning) along with Maria Michela D’Alessandro (@MMichiDale) in a fanzone of Rome and Maira Watanbe outside London’s Wembley Stadium.
Great police presence in Rome
And Michela of Rome tells us that Piazza del Popolo, one of two fanzines set in Rome, is surrounded by police officers and police cars.
“Fans come to the square singing and cheering Italy. The two big screens in the fan zone are broadcasting the Wimbledon final. “
Impossible to walk around Wembley
Our correspondent Maira is walking outside Wembley Stadium. And she sends us this update:
“There are a lot of people who come to the stadium, shout, sing, people are very happy and it’s almost impossible to walk around. Lots of rubbish already on the floor and some people falling on the broken, unsafe glass.
He has also seen some Italian fans.

Home or Rome?
What began on June 11 ends tonight: Italy will face England at London’s Wembley Stadium in the final of the 2020 European Championship.
England hopes a crowd of supporting players will help them secure their first major trophy since winning the 1966 World Cup at old Wembley.
Italy have not won the euro since 1968, but the Azzurri have had 33 unbeaten matches since September 2018 and have never lost to England in a major event.
