The latest version of Digital Health Unplugged is now live, this time taking a look at the diversity in digital leadership with the Shuri network.
Many things have happened on the Internet over the last year: from the creation of scholarships for members to join the Faculty of Clinical Informatics (FCI) to the establishment of a shadow program to help younger members to learn from those already working in technology in the NHS.
The Shuri Network has grown to more than 5,000 members since its launch in digital health summer schools in 2019, and we now have an update on the network’s new features:
- Nicole Wong, Junior Technical Analyst, Cyber, NHS South, Central and West
- Di Bullman, Head of Work, Digital Preparation Program, Health Education England
- Rafiah Patel, Head of Digital Ethics and Privacy, NHS Surrey Foundation Trust and Borders Partnership
The group will discuss the importance of diversity in leadership roles, the benefits it brings to an organization, and also how the Shuri Network has helped them in their own careers.
Tune in to hear more of what our group had to say.
