Cannabis provides a tall and spacious. For many, cannabis enhances the sensory experience. It makes the music richer, the food tastier, the colors more vivid, the touch more sensual, and the sex more erotic. It also amplifies the sensation and therefore provides an additional dimension to the practice of yoga. In some people, cannabis stimulates creativity. In many, it causes laughter.

The report of the Hemp Drug Commission of India of 1894 describes in a rather charming way the effects of cannabis in this way: “Bhang … makes the tongue of the lisper fresh, refreshes the intellect and give alertness to the body and joy to the mind. These are the useful and necessary purposes for which the Almighty made bhang … Bhang is a cordial, a bile absorber, an aperitif, a life extender. Bhang speeds up the fantasy, deepens the thought and approves the judgment … Bhang is the one who gives joy, the flyer of the sky, the celestial guide, the sky of the poor man, the softener of the pain. ”

The encouraging, expansive and joyful effects of cannabis result from a high quality material used judiciously. Consumed thoughtfully and in happy circumstances, cannabis increases pleasure and, in general, joy of living. However, cannabis is much more than an agent of pleasure, as it also provides a myriad of health benefits, with more benefits being discovered each week. Cannabis provides relief for nausea, glaucoma, seizures, anxiety, depression, neurodegenerative disorders and many more human health problems. It is one of the best herbal medicines, safe and versatile.

Cannabis produces its satisfying and euphoric effects thanks to THC, or Delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol, which is found in the resin glands produced in the cannabis flowers and leaves of the female plant. Identified in 1964 by Dr. Raphael Mechoulam and colleagues at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, this compound is part of a group of compounds known as cannabinoids. Of these, more than 110 are currently known. But it is mainly the THC cannabis content only determines the potency of the material.

THC and its widely beneficial complementary compound CBD, which is not psychoactive, occur in the highest and second highest concentration, respectively, of all cannabinoids. In addition, more than 120 aromatic terpenes are produced on cannabis flowers and sugar leaves. These impart specific aromas to various cannabis cultivars, including aromas of citrus and berries and those of wood and woody. Terpenes also have mood-altering properties, in some cases improving alertness and in others making you get on the couch. The numerous aromas of cannabis, from melon fragrances to berry, are due to the varieties of aromatic terpenes.

The main terpenes of cannabis include myrcene, limonene, linalool, caryophyllene, alpha-pinene and beta-pinene, alpha-bisabolol, trans-nerolidol, humulene, delta-3-carene, camphene, borneol, terpineol, valentene and geraniol. . All of these compounds, cannabinoids and terpenes, are produced in cannabis buds as hair-like crystals known as trichomes, similar to small translucent mushrooms. It is this resinous material that, when vaporized, smoked, drunk, eaten, or otherwise consumed, provides mental expansion.
